Have you ever wanted to pracitice pitching but didn't have a catcher.......how about a batter to stand in for you? The MoJo Pitching Cage is The World's First Pitching Cage. A pitcher now has the ability to practice anytime he/she wishes......without needing another person.
Bullpen session without MoJo. This photo was taken at a SF Giants game with a pitcher in a bullpen session. He is practicing throwing to a catcher that looks just like the Mojo catcher. The big difference is that his catcher will move the miit for him every time. The Mojo catcher will not move the mitt which forces you to think about location EVERY time! Also, this pitcher is only throwing to a catcher, there is no batter. When he goes into the game there will be a batter. You should always practice in real game situation.
This photo was taken at a Arizona Diamondbacks game. This is a real game situation. The pitcher is throwing to a catcher and a batter that look just like the Mojo batter and catcher. The difference is that the catcher will move the glove for him every time. If you want to be the best in the world you need repetitious practice in a real game situation.
This is another photo from a real game with the pitcher throwing to a left handed batter. The Mojo batter can easily be switched to a left handed batter for you to practice throwing to. So many kids can throw great with just a catcher, but when you put a batter in the box, they can't even throw a strike let alone hit the mitt. It all boils down to repetitious practice.
(See You Tube Video Below)The photo above is showing a training session with MoJo at an Indoor Training Facility. Generally, Indoor Training Facilities have a pitching area, but the coach is sitting on a bucket playing the role of catcher and attempting to provide feedback on the students mechanics. With MoJo, the coach now has the ability to control the catcher from the pitching area and really focus on the student's mechanics.
Which target would you rather throw to? Which target puts you in a real game situation? Which target do you think will get you to the BIG LEAGUES? The Mojo Pitching Cage philosophy is repetitious practice in a real game situation.
The Mojo Pitching Cage can easily be set up on the field. You or your coach has the ability to position the catcher from the pitcher's mound. In order to be the best.......you must practice in a real game situation.
The catcher can be controlled with three cables. You can move the catcher inside......outside.......or adjust the mitt up or down. All the adjustments of the catcher can be done from the pitching area.
The catcher moves back and forth on a low profile track. You can pull on a cable from the pitcher's mound to move the catcher inside or outside.
The hand cables allow you to move the catcher inside or outside. The crank allows you to move the catcher's mitt up or down.
